Border Collies are a medium sized, high-energy working dog. The Border Collie was developed to gather and control sheep in the hilly border country between Scotland and England. They are known for their intense nature and ability to control their flock. They are dogs with unlimited energy, stamina, and working drive, all of which make them one of the top breeds of herding dogs.

Here at Hessian Hill we have three red and white Border Collies. Trapper, our male is just over a year old. Aggie and Millie are our two females. All of our dogs are AKC registered. Our dogs are used for working our flock of Southdown sheep. Millie had her first litter of puppies on June 3rd 2015. She had three males and four females. If you are interested in future puppies, contact Lois at 518-365-4085. Our puppies are all AKC registered and will come with papers.
